  • ARIA is a 4-stage model of change designed to support personal transformation by integrating best practices from positive psychology, behavioral science, philosophy, and change theory. The ARIA model helps individuals achieve meaningful growth by combining awareness, action, intention, and accountability throughout their journey. Each stage includes both exploratory and regulatory components to promote sustainable, values-aligned change.


    The four stages of ARIA are:
     

    1. Awareness & Acceptance

    This foundational stage focuses on self-awareness and acknowledging your current reality. It encourages you to explore thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while cultivating acceptance of where you are in your journey, without judgment. This stage helps you recognize patterns, identify limiting beliefs, and understand your values.
     

    • Exploratory Component (Awareness): Curiosity, Love of Learning, Creativity

    • Regulatory Component (Acceptance): Perspective, Judgment, Spirituality
       

    2. Resilience & Resistance

    In this stage, you develop the inner strength to confront challenges and setbacks while resisting negative habits or thought patterns that interfere with progress. It focuses on building emotional resilience and learning to persevere through difficulties, promoting long-term adaptability and self-discipline.
     

    • Exploratory Component (Resilience): Bravery, Perseverance, Zest

    • Regulatory Component (Resistance): Self-Regulation, Prudence, Forgiveness
       

    3. Inspiration & Intention

    This phase helps you discover what inspires and motivates you, providing clarity on your "why." It’s about setting meaningful intentions aligned with your values and establishing a support system to help you follow through. You tap into personal purpose and use it as a guiding light to stay motivated.
     

    • Exploratory Component (Inspiration): Hope, Appreciation of Beauty & Excellence, Humor

    • Regulatory Component (Intention): Kindness, Social Intelligence, Love
       

    4. Action & Accountability

    The final stage is about taking consistent, intentional action and ensuring accountability. It focuses on creating habits, tracking progress, and following through on your commitments. This phase emphasizes taking the right actions—not just any actions—while staying humble and grateful as you grow. Accountability, both self-imposed and external, is essential to this stage’s success.

  • Sessions typically last 50-60 minutes, though some mind-body services may vary. The frequency of sessions depends on your needs and goals. Some clients benefit from weekly sessions, while others prefer bi-weekly or monthly check-ins. We’ll work together to create a schedule that best supports your progress

  • Professional Counseling focuses on emotional healing, mental health, and exploring past experiences that may impact your present. It provides therapeutic support for managing challenges like anxiety, depression, stress, addictions or grief.
     

    Postive Psychology Coaching is future-focused and goal-oriented. It helps you identify your values, overcome obstacles, and take actionable steps toward your goals, whether personal or professional. While counseling helps with healing, coaching is designed to foster growth, clarity, and momentum.

    If you’re struggling with mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, or trauma, counseling might be the best fit. If you’re looking to set goals, develop new habits, navigate a life transition, or improve productivity, coaching could be more appropriate. In some cases, a blend of both services may be recommended to meet your needs.
